In my experience, where the training skimmed over certain subjects I looked to the training from other members. For example, I wanted to learn more about ‘writing that converts.’ So reading real tips and tricks that work from other members was a bonus.

You can ask other member’s any questions that you have if you’re stuck with any of the training.

For any question you have, you can search first (see magnifying glass symbol below) to see if someone has already asked it before. If not, then ask the community in live chat (above). You’ll get a welcome and an answer. You can ask an unlimited number of questions!
Private Messaging: you can also private message the owners or any member of Wealthy Affiliate. They may offer to help you with a curly question you have and it’s easy to communicate on the platform. I like to personally welcome new premium members after they sign up.

The technical support is 24/7 and unlimited, so wherever you are in the world (or if you’re a night owl) you’ll receive an answer to your technical questions in prompt time from the tech team.
Some questions I’ve asked about were when I couldn’t access my site: The team accessed the site and told me that a plugin caused the problem so they deactivated that for me and I gained access. Another question I had was about the google maps API not working properly. That was a plugin problem too!
Feedback Platform: you can ask for feedback on the look, design, and usability of your website. You could get feedback from a top affiliate marketer or a newbie and it’s all valuable because we all access websites. We know if we can find our way around the site easily, if it’s easy to read, if the images load quickly, etc.
Some feedback I’ve recently given to websites on Wealthy Affiliate:
- the white type on a black background was difficult to read so suggested black font on white background
- there weren’t any internal links so I recommended adding these to the posts
- the image on the home page was inspirational and worked well
- the font was very small and I recommended a bigger size
Personal Blog and Profile: You have a profile and username on Wealthy Affiliate where you can tell everyone about yourself and your goals.
Blogging on the platform is encouraged, for example, success blogs, a new strategy you want to share with the members, your progress on the platform, etc. You’ll be encouraged to blog as you progress through the training.
7. Lots of Top Marketers and Super Affiliates
You’ll see top affiliate marketers active on the Wealthy Affiliate platform sharing their knowledge. They create free training for members and are active on live chat. You’ll see Carson and Kyle on live chat too, and make sure you read their blog posts for all the latest!
I recommend you start watching Jay’s weekly video training sessions, either live or recorded, from the beginning of your training. They’re invaluable. At first, you may not understand everything but you can ask questions in live chat. The videos are a chance to hear the terms and see the key strategies on how to create a successful blog.
8. Jaaxy Keyword Research
You need a solid tool for doing keyword research and I’ve found that Jaaxy is the best for me. This is how you get your post on page 1 of Google and make money.

10. WordPress
The foundation training is all things WordPress where you’re taught how to start and set up a WordPress website. You don’t have to be a techy or have any prior knowledge of websites.
It’s great for beginners with easy-to-follow video lessons and instructions. You’ll have your website set up and progressing by the time you’ve finished the Certification Course.
If you have more advanced skills in this area, you’ll find training that caters to your level of expertise.
If you’re new to writing you’ll find the Site Content Editor invaluable with helpful templates and a grammar checker (which is super handy). From here you can publish your content directly to WordPress, so no extra work involved.
